San Francisco ADU Developer — Garage, Home, and Backyard Conversions.
About SYMBiHOM in San Francisco
San Francisco homeowners are uniquely positioned for ADU development. The city's attached garage stock is extensive, its interior home layouts often include underutilized space, and ADU rental income in SF commands some of the highest rates in the country. A fully permitted ADU is a permanently titled asset in one of the world's most land-constrained cities. SYMBiHOM is a CA HCD approved ADU Design-Build Developer serving San Francisco homeowners.
Our Credentials in San Francisco
SYMBiHOM holds CA HCD approval and is actively pursuing pre-approved vendor status with the City and County of San Francisco. San Francisco operates its own Pre-Approved ADU Plans Program for detached ADUs; we are pursuing listing on that program and serve SF homeowners in the interim through our CA HCD approved modular system.
Permitting in San Francisco
San Francisco's Pre-Approved ADU Plans Program applies to detached ADUs on 25-foot lots and is subject to zone restrictions including slope protection, seismic hazard, liquefaction, and flood zones. We assess your property's eligibility as part of your free feasibility review.
